About Wood Knot Studio
Welcome to My Online Studio!
Wood Knot Studio is located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and specializes in hand-carved wooden bowls, charcuterie boards with epoxy inlays, and custom furniture. All of my work is hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind unique pieces. I enjoy expressing my artistic design by bringing out the natural beauty of each piece of wood. I use various species of wood, hand tools, and a bowl horse for carving purposes. Having no formal training, I have perfected my craftsmanship and artistic style since my love for woodworking developed in my first woodshop class in middle school.
Other Information
In September 2019, I achieved the status of Master Artisan in Wood from the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman. It was awarded in juried recognition based on the following three benchmarks: Excellence in Craftsmanship, Resolved Design, and Unique Voice.
Being an avid outdoorsman, my eyes are always open, looking for another treasured piece of wood to turn into an artistic creation. I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time at my mountain property.
